Opportunities Listings: Editorial Guidelines

NuWire Investor ("NuWire") makes opportunities listings ("listings") available for both consumers and businesses. NuWire employs human editors that review each listing to ensure it meets certain quality standards. This does not mean that NuWire endorses the listing or the contents therein. NuWire does not generally make an effort to verify the data provided on these listings. Rather, the human editor is designed to ensure that listings are complete and presented in a fair manner. Here are some guidelines that can help ensure your opportunities listings get posted:

DOs

  • DO use your best judgment.
  • DO make sure your format looks crisp and clean.
  • DO include some method of contact.
  • DO include verifiable data - Instead of using "the leading software for landlords" use "over 10,000 copies sold".
  • DO provide details about your product, service or opportunity.
  • DO update your listing if your product is sold or service discontinued.
  • DO use pictures, videos or other rich media to add to the value of your listing. Just make sure you have the digital rights to use those pictures or videos for the purpose of your listing.

DON’Ts

  • DON’T make misleading or false statements and/or representations.
  • DON’T post objectionable content.
  • DON’T post discriminatory content.
  • DON’T post anything illegal, including but not limited to anything that violates fair housing or securities regulations.
  • DON’T use this service as part of any illegal scheme, including attempting to defraud other users. It is too easy to track. Don’t waste your time.
  • DON’T use automated posting services to post to NuWire without the express permission of NuWire.

NUWIRE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE PUBLISHING OF ANY LISTING THAT, IN NUWIRE’S SOLE DISCRETION, DOES NOT MEET THE QUALITY STANDARDS OF NUWIRE’S WEBSITE AND/OR THESE EDITORIAL GUIDELINES. NUWIRE ALSO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE USER ACCOUNTS OF ANY USER VIOLATING THE SPIRIT OF THESE GUIDELINES, TO BE DETERMINED IN NUWIRE’S SOLE DISCRETION.
